Wart Removal Treatments in Hertfordshire

Do you have unwanted Warts? Are they irritating you and you wish they were removed?

Treating and removing these is an easy process thanks to our advanced CryoPen treatments.

Warts are small lumps of hardened skin that appear most commonly on the face, feet, hands and fingers, although they can be found around the entire body as groups or individually. Warts are generally painless, although they can be painful if they are bumped against something. Warts are caused by the HPV virus which makes the skin produce an abundance of keratin which leads to the rough, hard skin of a wart.

We also offer blood spot removal and milia removal.

Wart Removal

Warts are removed using our advanced CyroPen system. CryoPen emits a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure. This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid which then forms ice shards and crystals. The membrane is then ruptured and the cell destroyed. There is no damage outside the treated area and it’s incredibly accurate.

Steve Leahy (Hatfield)

“Great service and advice from your team when I visited today. Really stubborn milia was extracted from an area in the corner of my eye. Also great advice given about skin hydration and eye cream to help stop this returning. Great price too! Thanks so much.”

Frequently Asked Questions about Wart Removal

Is the treatment permanent?

Yes. Once removed a Wart, Milia or Blood Spot will not return.

Can I get this treatment performed at my doctors surgery

Very unlikely. With squeezing NHS budgets, the removal of Blood Spots, Warts and Milia are now considered cosmetic so your GP is unlikely to perform the removal.

What are the side effects?

Immediately after the treatment, redness may occur. This is perfectly normal and nothing of concern.

Is the treatment painful?

There is minimal pain or discomfort felt and no anaesthetic required.

How long does a session last?

30 minutes.

Are there any specific aftercare tips?

Once the session is complete, we will discuss with you what the proper after care routine is and how to ensure the best results of the procedure.

How do I prepare for the procedure?

There are no specific requirements before the treatment. We suggest not to apply any cosmetics beforehand, and you should let us know about any recent medical conditions and medications taken.

Will there be any scarring?

The risk of scarring is low.
