Dermal Fillers by Hertfordshire’s leading Skin Care Clinic

Do you want to have brighter, smoother and hydrated skin?

Dermal fillers are a cosmetic treatment which adds natural volume lost through ageing and sun exposure. The dermal fillers consist of a purified natural protein that is placed into the dermal layer of the skin, relaxing the muscles in the face. They are wonderful at reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, plumping lines and smoothing out tired looking skin thus leaving your skin more hydrated and youthful in appearance.

A consultation and consent are needed prior to any treatment with Dr Maryam. The doctor can inject Dermal Fillers around the eyes, lips, cheeks, chin and bridge of the nose. These Dermal Fillers last for a number of months and are extremely effective at giving you a younger, brighter look.

Dermal Fillers – Customer Reviews

My treatment with Dr Maryam McMillan – I Went to see Maryam for some Botox and Lip fillers last year and am ecstatic with the results. She really listens and takes on board what look you are after and I was left with subtle, natural results ? I have been to two other well known doctors in North London but she is way above the rest in my opinion.“

My treatment with Dr Maryam McMillan – “I’ve had Botox done before but I find Dr Maryam’s treatment sets faster and last longer. She is concerned with my looking natural and listens to what I want to achieve. No-one notices I’ve had anything done, I just get lots of compliments and asked for ID!!
I always recommend her!“

My treatment with Dr Maryam McMillan – “Dr Maryam is amazing at what she does and incredibly welcoming, she puts you at complete ease from the minute you walk in. Always listens to what you want and the results speak for themselves. I would highly Recommend her for your aesthetic needs.“

Frequently Asked Questions about Dermal Fillers

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are a gel like substance made of hyaluronic acid. This can be directly injected into the different layers of the skin to improve volume, reduce lines, wrinkles and fill deep facial folds.

Who performs the Dermal Filler treatments?

Dermal fillers should only be performed by a highly skilled, qualified, experienced medical practitioner.  Dr Maryam McMillan is our visiting injector and is very qualified and well for her outstanding work in dental and facial aesthetics. Dr Maryam understands that customer welfare is paramount and her attention to detail is second to none. Her understanding of how to create an overall effect of stunning beauty as opposed to just doing what the patient asks puts Dr. Maryam along way ahead of others within her field of facial aesthetics.

What results should I expect?

Each patient is different, not only in their requirements for lip fillers, cheek fillers, scar fillers etc, but also each and every patient will react differently to the amount of time it takes for the fillers to work. If you are young and in excellent health, you may well find that the dermal fillers on your face do their work quicker than someone who is older or in poor health.

How quick do I see my results?

Results are almost immediate.

Are Dermal Fillers safe?

Yes, we only use FDA approved fillers. Since this procedure requires a medically qualified hand, our aesthetic doctor will carry out your Dermal Fillers treatment from our clinic near Potters Bar and Welwyn in Hertfordshire. Thanks to their experience and expertise in administering the treatment, our doctor ensures the dermal filler treatment is effective and painless.

Which Dermal Filler brands do Beausynergy use?

Juvederm + Juvederm Vycross (including Volbella) + Volift and Juvederm Voluma + Restylane dermal fillers + Restylane Skin Boosters + Emervel + Ellanse + Radiesse.

Juvéderm is made from bio-degradable Hyaluronic acid which replaces the naturally existing substances in your skin and repairs the damaged tissues.

What's the treatment process?

Our first step is to go through an in-depth consultation with you to discuss your needs and facial profile. Your skin type, age and any medical conditions may make dermal fillers unsuitable and these would also be discussed with you during the initial consultation.

Once the consultation is complete a light anaesthetic would be applied, if needed, and the filler solution implanted into the desired areas of your skin. You may notice an immediate reduction in wrinkles as well as smoothing and plumping out lines. The treatment may well start to work well after just a few days and can last for a number of months after the initial appointment.
