I travel a long way to go to BeauSynergy and it’s worth it. They were recommended to me by a friend and all staff are friendly and professional. Marina is amazing, totally thorough and so caring. Excellent service! 110 percent recommend.

Very friendly and professional. I am happy with results of all treatments I have received here! Currently having a tattoo removed. All treatments are fully explained to you before you decide to go ahead. They discuss all the pros but are also transparent to give you realistic expectations. Very honest!

Already I’m looking SOOO much better! Dr Kiran is personable, clever and hugely talented. Always feel as though I’ve visited a friend …and within weeks I look brighter and healthier for it. What’s not to love?! Thank you,  Dr Kiran

Joanna Scotman 23rd April

Had the most wonderful transformative experience with Dr Kiran. I was born with facial asymmetry, and as I’ve got older this has become worse. The filler treatment prescribed to me by Dr Kiran has worked beautifully and subtlety to balance my face and features, creating a naturally tighter and younger look. Less double chin and an enhanced jawline. Thank you so much Dr Kiran.

Isabelle Masonelle – 13th April 2022

As always, I’ve had the most amazing service at BeauSynergy. The girls here are fantastic.
I am seen by Marina on a monthly basis and she has just been an absolute pleasure from
the beginning. My skin has never looked so good and I have never received so many compliments! This salon is a gift from God! Thank you so much!!

Lesley Freemat 11th April 2022

It was my first consultation, as I am new to area. My therapist was professional and
approachable. She listened to my concerns and explained the treatments suitable for me in
detail. I’ve booked my first treatment and am looking forward to it.

Your Questions Answered

What happens during the CryoPen procedure?
The area freezes and turns white. Then the white area thaws and flushing occurs that turns the area red. This thawing is associated with a pinching sensation as a wheal is formed. This wheal may develop into a blister or not depending on the area of the body and length of freeze. The blister may last 3 – 5 days then begin to form a scab. The scab will fall off in 1-2 weeks. Depending on the extent of freeze and tissue area, a new scab may form and the process may be repeated naturally. The lesion will be completely healed in 2 – 6 weeks.
Is CryoPen painful?

There will be a pain sensation similar to a stinging nettle on the skin when the nitrous oxide reaches the bottom of the area. There might be a little residue stinging for a few minutes after treatment. The area will be slightly itchy for about 10 minutes. Occasionally a blister may appear for a few hours.

CryoPen can treat all skin types and colours including Asian and black skin. Freeze times are adjusted to suit each individual client.

Where is CryoPen performed in your Hertfordshire Clinic?

There are 3 recognised treatment rooms that are used to perform CryoPen. These rooms are private and conform to all the necessary health and safety government guidelines.

Is a local Anesthesia needed before the CryoPen treatment?
No. The extreme cold causes anesthesia soon after applied. This allows the procedure to be tolerable.
How many lesions can be frozen at one CryoPen session?
Usually we would only freeze 3 lesions per session to limit the degree of systemic inflammatory response. However, if the lesions are on the small side then a higher number of tags, warts or verrucas would be treated..
Are there any side effects of CryoPen?
We regard CryoPen to have minimal risk with just a few potential side effects such as:

a) Pigmentary changes in the treated area. Normal skin colour will return in a few months. b) Where nerves are close to the treated area then potentially a little nerve damage may occur. Normal sensitivity should return within a few months. c) Hair follicle damage and permanent alopecia, especially when treating areas on sites with coarse terminal hair.

What results can I expect from Cryopen in the Hertfordshire clinic?
In a matter of seconds, you will have flawless skin as the CryoPen will have reduced and removed on all skin types – pigmentation, sun damage pigmentation, brown spots, ageing spots / marks / blemishes, skin tags and warts.
Can I go swimming after my Cryopen treatment?
Yes, as long as the blister has not popped.
What if the blister pops?
If the blister pops, then the use of an antibiotic cleaning solution and ointment is recommended. Covering the area with a bandage also promotes healing.
Can you freeze anywhere on the body?
The CryoPen treatments are typically not done in areas with very thin delicate skin or limited blood supply or superficial nerves.
Who performs the Cryopen treatments?
The skin therapists in the clinic are all at an advanced level with the necessary experience and qualified training to carry out the procedures.
