Get Glowing, Healthy Skin!
24 September 2021

Beautiful skin is confidence-building; it can help you to quite literally put your best face forward! Unfortunately, for all sorts of reasons, many of us struggle with skin problems. From health conditions to poor diets and lack of sleep, factors in our lives can be reflected on our faces – our skin health spa has really seen it all.

A Multitude of Skin Health Options

Of course, it’s excellent we have choices when it comes to treatments for our skin, but it can sometimes feel like more of a curse than a blessing. How do we know which products or beauty treatments are most effective, best for our unique faces or even trustworthy?

Popular therapies for improving skin quality include everything from dietary changes and vitamin supplementation to facials and laser treatments. When it comes to skin health Hertfordshire, we are your award-winning skin and beauty salon, ready to make your desire for gorgeous, glowing skin a reality.

Our Favourite Skin Health Spa Treatments

We love the Cryopen because it successfully treats such a wide range of skin problems with immediate results. Many people opt for it to zap away signs of sun damage, age spots or spots of abnormal pigmentation.

It can also be used to get rid of pesky skin tags and warts, as shown in this demonstration video. They used to be covered by the NHS, but since they aren’t anymore, the Cryopen gives people another option for shedding them, fast.

The Cryopen is one of the fastest treatments at our skin health spa. It takes anywhere from five seconds to five minutes depending on the treatment area and works by freezing and destroying tissue. It’s highly accurate and there’s no damage outside the area we treat.

It’s very unlikely you’ll experience any issues with the Cryopen, but the minimal risks can include temporary pigment or hair follicle changes and nerve damage. The treatment itself feels like a slight sting; afterwards, the area may itch briefly and blister.

IPL Laser Skin Rejuvenation

If the Cryopen isn’t quite what you’re looking for, you can also consider a laser treatment for a smooth, youthful flow! IPL laser rejuvenation is available at our Hertfordshire clinic for your skin health.

Using intense pulsed light (IPL) helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which is what makes your skin look young and vibrant! After laser treatments, your skin will be smooth, soft, strong and more elastic. IPL is also excellent for reducing wrinkles and enlarged pores.

IPL laser treatments are safe with very minimal pain. We find they’re especially popular for the face, neck and hands – areas where the signs of ageing tend to appear.

Cryolift Treatments

Don’t let the name dissuade you if the Cryopen isn’t your thing – a Cryolift is relaxing and totally painless. We see that it rejuvenates skin dramatically, targeting signs and ageing, improving tone and texture and even reducing acne scarring.

Cryolift uses a high-pressure CO2 flow combined with an active serum to produce immediate results. While they can often be a one-off treatment, many people opt for a course of sessions at our skin health spa in Potters Bar. Cryolift is ideal for returning radiance to your skin.

Beauty Therapies to Consider

These are just a few of our most popular skin therapies, ones which many clients at our award-winning spa in Brookmans Park have found tremendous success with. Check back at the end of the week for part two in our series, taking about other options for your skin health!
